1. Who we are

DOT Truck Services is a private document preparation and filing service for motor carriers. We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Transportation, FMCSA, the IRS, the State of Texas, TxDMV or the UCR Plan. We are not attorneys and do not give legal advice. You may complete any of these filings yourself, directly with the agencies, for free or for the official fee only.

2. What we do

We prepare and submit the filings you request using the information you give us. Our fee covers preparation and submission. Official government fees are charged separately and passed through to the agencies.

3. Your responsibilities

• Give us true, complete and current information, and tell us right away if something changes.
• Be the owner or an authorized officer of the company, or have written authorization to request the filing.
• Comply with the FMCSA and state rules that apply to your operation. Approval of any filing is decided by the agency, not by us.

4. Processing time

We process filings within 24 business hours after payment and receipt of all required information. Government processing times are outside our control.

5. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number. A payment processing fee, shown before you pay, may be added to your order total. For some services (for example, temporary permits) your card may be authorized first and charged once we verify eligibility.

6. Electronic signature

You agree that your drawn signature, typed name, the date, time and your IP address are a valid electronic signature and authorization to file on your behalf.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the service fee you paid us for that filing. We are not responsible for delays, rejections, fines or penalties caused by incorrect information you provided or by government agencies.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
