What is it?

If your USDOT became inactive (missed MCS-150 or you closed it) and you're going to operate again, it's reactivated with a complete, updated MCS-150.

Who needs it?

  • Companies with an inactive USDOT that are going back to work
  • Anyone whose USDOT was deactivated for a missed MCS-150

  1. We check your USDOT's current status.
  2. You give us your current operation, trucks and mileage.
  3. We file the MCS-150 to reactivate it.
  4. We let you know when it's active.

What happens if it's not up to date?

  • Operating with an inactive USDOT can lead to fines and out-of-service orders.
  • You can't renew UCR, IRP or other registrations with an inactive USDOT.
